Zoho links its office suite with Google Drive
Zoho has integrated its cloud-hosted office productivity applications with the Google Drive online storage service, Zoho said in a blog post.
The integration lets Google Drive users open their files using the Zoho Office applications Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet and Zoho Show -- word processor, spreadsheet and presentation creation applications, respectively.
Users can also edit the documents and save them back to Google Drive. It's also possible to create brand new documents with the Zoho applications and store them in Google Drive. Users can also collaboratively edit documents. Read more...
Dropbox, SkyDrive or Google Drive?
Microsoft unleashed a desktop sync app for SkyDrive. Today, Google followed by finally launching Google Drive — after a series of early appearances hinted that it was going to be arriving very, very soon. So now that the dust has settled, how do the two new services stack up with the current king of cloud storage and sync, Dropbox? Let’s take a look.

In terms of disk space in the cloud, SkyDrive offers you the most bang for your non-buck. While there are other ways to bump up your Dropbox storage without paying, all new SkyDrive users get the full 7GB from the get-go. Google Drive spotted on a Google employee’s phone
Google’s cloud storage service, Google Drive, has been talked about for quite a bit. Unfortunately to date there hasn’t been any official confirmation of sorts with the latest rumor suggesting that a launch of Google Drive could be happening as soon as this week. Perhaps that rumor could very well pan out thanks to a Google employee indadvertedly showing off the Google Drive icon on his phone during an Android Developers Hangout on Google Plus. Google promptly yanked the video but not before the good folks over at The Verge managed to grab a screenshot on the developer’s phone (pictured above).
For those unfamiliar, Google Drive is expected to be an alternative to popular cloud storage service, Dropbox. According to the rumors, Google Drive will attempt to lure Dropbox users over onto its service by offering 5GB free at the start which is 3GB more than Dropbox’s 2GB offering. Read more...
